Norsafe Årsnes AS

Norsafe Årsnes AS was established after Norsafe acquired a 50.000 sqm former shipyard area and quay structures at Årsnes, close to Rosendal in Hardanger at the Norwegian west coast.
The facilities include a 1500 sqm factory hall, 200 sqm offices and a 500 sqm store. An extension with another 1000 sqm factory building is planned.
Norsafe Årsnes AS develops design and manufacture davits for offshore markets and equipment for special purposes. The target is to develop Norsafe Årsnes AS into a technology- and competence centre within composites, including engineering, design and production. Since 2007, Norsafe Årsnes has delivered some of the biggest freefall davits in the world.
|
A separate service unit will be established to serve customers along the Norwegian North Sea and Atlantic coast and also become a centre for refurbishment/upgrading of lifeboats.
