- Gearing up for modification projects on the shelf.

Beerenberg and Norsafe expand their existing frame agreement with services for Mobile Cutting/Machining and Sveisolat® (habitat).
- The expanded agreement makes us unique for future projects, says Greger Løvås, Business Manager Norsafe.

In connection with Norsafes deliveries of lifeboat systems in the Norwegian and international market, Beerenberg have been awarded an expanded scope of services under the existing frame agreement, which was signed in November 2011.

Extensive cooperation
Services provided by Beerenberg will now, in addition to Rope Access Technique (RAT), include Beerenbergs special developed disciplines within Mobile Cutting/Machining and Sveisolat® (habitat), for work related to installation, maintenance and modification of lifeboat systems. For Norsafe it is important that Beerenberg has been able to offer an integrated package of services, so that projects can be performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

- There are major modifications to be carried out on the lifeboat systems on the shelf in the coming years. Therefore it is important that we as a supplier is properly prepared for the challenges that potentially are going to face us, not to mention that we are able to offer our clients a sense of security when it comes to the total supply of new systems and the decommissioning of existing equipment. An extension of the cooperation with Beerenberg gives us unique opportunities and knowledge to enable us finding solutions to the challenges inherent in the market. There are already several large international projects coming up that will be conducted in cooperation with Beerenberg during the next few months, and the experiences that we will gain from these projects will enables us to form a solid fundament for the work to be performed on the Norwegian shelf, says Greger Løvås Business Manager Norsafe AS.

Creating added value

The services within Mobile Cutting/Machining and Sveisolat® (habitat) amend to the existing frame agreement, which was entered into in November 2011 for services within Rope Access Technique (RAT). The frame agreement is valid for three years with the possibility for options. Norsafe have offices in nine countries including USA, Brazil and Japan, and operations in even more.

Beerenberg og Norsafe utvider selskapenes rammeavtale med tjenester innen mobil kutting/maskinering og Sveisolat® (habitat).

I forbindelse med Norsafe sine leveranser av livbåtsystemer på det norske og internasjonale markedet, er Beerenberg blitt tildelt et utvidet omfang av tjenester under eksisterende rammeavtale som ble inngått i november 2011.

- Den utvidede avtalen gjør oss unike for fremtidige oppdrag, sier Greger Løvås, Business Manager i Norsafe i en pressemelding.

Tjenestene fra Beerenberg vil nå, i tillegg til tilkomstteknikk (TT), innbefatte Beerenberg sine spesialutviklede disipliner innen mobil kutting/maskinering og Sveisolat® (habitat), i forbindelse med installasjon, vedlikehold og modifikasjon av livbåtsystemer.

- Det er store modifikasjoner som skal gjøres på livbåtsystemene på sokkelen de kommende årene. Derfor er det viktig at vi som leverandør er riktig skodd for de utfordringene som venter oss, og ikke minst at vi er i stand til å gi operatørene en trygghet rundt totalleveransene av nye systemer og fjerning av eksisterende utstyr. En utvidelse av samarbeidet med Beerenberg gir oss unike muligheter og kunnskap for å kunne gjøre oss i stand til å finne løsninger på de utfordringer som ligger i markedet. Allerede de neste månedene vil vi gjennomføre flere store internasjonale prosjekter i felleskap med Beerenberg, og erfaringene vi gjør oss vil danne et solid fundament for det arbeidet som skal utføres på norsk sokkel, sier Greger Løvås Business Manager i Norsafe.

Tjenestene innen mobil kutting/maskinering og Sveisolat® (habitat) føyer seg inn i eksisterende rammeavtale, som ble inngått i november 2011 for tjenester innen tilkomstteknikk (TT). Rammeavtalen gjelder for tre år med mulighet for opsjoner. Norsafe har kontorer i ni land, blant annet USA, Brasil og Japan, og operasjoner i enda flere.
